Co-founded in 1996 by Malaysian fashion designer Jimmy Chow (his name was incorrectly spelt as Choo on his birth certificate, hence becoming known as Jimmy Choo) and British Vogue magazine accessories editor Tamara Mellon, their collections had patronage from Diana, Princess of Wales and numerous film stars and celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to name but a few.
